The Tester - GMTK Game Jam 2024

Game devs need you! To test their weird unproven concepts. So head into the testing facility and show them just how their scaling tech works!

Controls:

WASD: Move

Space: Jump

Left Click: Grab/Drop Objects

Scroll Wheel: Scale Grabbed Objects

Escape: Pause

Objective:

Make your way through the testing facility, using the scalable objects (coloured blue) you find along the way.

They have odd physics interactions with each other, so make sure to exploit them!

Similar looking green boxes can't be picked up.

Once you reach the end, your usefulness will be fulfilled and you will be permitted to stay in a small physics playground (or just, y'know, quit the game)
